PETER GILES

Peter Giles artist and musician, originally from Milton Keynes move to Cornwall in 2010, before relocating he spent 15 years teaching in adult education.

He is the co-founder of Barnoon Arts with his wife,  Zoe Eaton,  and a tutor at Barnoon Arts. Peter is also a  member of The St Ives Society of Artists and The St Ives Arts Club.

"My art practice involves mainly using contemporary marker pens and fine liners, although not exclusively to make intricate and beautiful  contemporary abstract drawings.  The works are time consuming and based on a set of rules for each one. The rules can be changed for aesthetic purposes along the way but they are nearly always the starting point. The work has developed over 25 years and many exhibitions."

Peter works mainly on paper,  A3, A2 and A1 available unframed, he is also happy to take commissions for art originals or designs. New works are in development including a series of prints, etchings and record cover designs. Feel free to enquire: [email protected]
